Also known as a forehead lift, a brow lift can help improve many imperfections on the face. It is used to place the eyebrows into a youthful and alert position, raise sagging eyebrows, improve frown lines, and to decrease the wrinkle lines that are sometimes found horizontally on the forehead. Botox can also be used to achieve some of these results. Direct brow lift operations have been found to have predictable outcomes and usually leave patients extremely satisfied.

As a patient at Qunomedical, you have access to the most experienced brow lift surgeons across the entire globe. Our doctors use the latest brow lift procedures in order to give you the best outcome possible. While cost will vary depending upon the extent of your brow lift, you can expect to pay up to 80 percent less than the average cost of a brow lift surgery in Australia, the UK, and the US.

How Does a Brow Lift Procedure Work?

Prior to your brow lift surgery, you will be given either intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. Once you are fully sedated, the surgical site with be thoroughly cleaned in order to help prevent infection. Then your surgeon will use one of two procedures to complete your brow lift. Some brow lifts are done with the use of an endoscope and special tools that can be placed through small incisions made at your hairline. Sometimes a brow lift can be better performed with the use of a coronal incision which will place the scar within the hairline. For patients with higher hairlines, sometimes the coronal incision works better than the endoscopic brow lift. With either method, the skin of the forehead is lifted and the surgeon can make muscle adjustments with direct visualization.

Your surgeon will then close your incision with removable or absorbable sutures, skin adhesives, surgical tape, and special clips. You will be instructed on post-operative care that may require the use of ice, creams, or ointments and when to return for follow-up care. Recovery from a brow lift usually takes two to three weeks. Some soreness around the surgical area can be expected as well as some edema and bruising. Once the swelling and bruising begin to subside within one to two weeks, you will notice smoother forehead skin and your new rested and youthful appearance will be revealed.
