I am very pleased with the organisation, compassion, attention and the care provided by the employees of the clinic. My [Qunomedical] health care manager took initiative to ask how things were going after the surgery.

I booked an appointment for the Primary Package at the Dr Cinik clinic in Istanbul and underwent my procedure on March 14th. I chose this clinic for their experience with afro hair. Organisation: Qunomedical took care of the organizational part before the transplant. I booked my flight to and from Istanbul, and they passed the information on to the coordinators at the Dr. Cinik clinic. When I got at Istanbul, as promised, someone was waiting for us to transport us to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel though, my reservation wasn't known. When mentioning the hair transplant procedure at Dr Cinik (the hotel cooperates with the clinic), they said they would take care of it when the clinic is available for contact and booked us a room for the desired number of nights. I'm glad they were so open for this. I got a welcome message upon arrival, notifying me that a taxi will come pick me up at the hotel the next day at 8am, which happened accordingly. Day of transplant The group of guys who were planned for a hair transplant were picked up and brought to the clinic on time. There, a series of well-coordinated events occured: putting in the intravenous drip (and drawing blood from it), consultation with the doctor (and drawing the finished line), taking the before pictures, shaving and then on to the OR. There I was prepared for the procedure, which included the local anaesthetic (the fluid injections were the only painful part, damn). After that, it's massaged all over your head so they can take the grafts. Didn't feel a thing of this. At first, they predicted to do approx. 2500 grafts, but ended up doing 4650! So grateful! It was a long procedure though, still so thankful I could watch Netflix while they worked. Midway through I got a sandwich, about every hour or so they offered me water, checked how things were going (the technicians English is basic but the coordinators are fluent in English), I could go to the toilet whenever I needed to or take a break if I wanted. After the long procedure (9.5 hours), I got an explanation about the medication to take after the procedure. I was brought home by one of their taxi drivers. I did experience some fever and a bit of

pain when the local anaesthetic wore off, but took an antihistamine pill and one of the paracetamol pills to subdue the fever. The most difficult part is the sleeping on the back, which I do poorly. I do understand it’s a necessary thing in order to protect the hair that's just been transplanted. Slept pretty okay with those medicine. The next days The next morning, the bandage was full of (wound fluids). The bandage was removed at the clinic, and was replaced with a tight headband to prevent the edema to reach your eyes. Also, the taking of a lot of medicine started. Again, transport by the clinic was excellent: the drivers even instruct you to beware of your head. The day after, they did the first wash of the transplanted hair and explained the process. They were aware of my flight times, and had arranged transport to the airport on time. I am very pleased with the organisation, compassion, attention and the care provided by the employees of the clinic. The only point of improvement may be their sterility. As an ICU nurse, I was very wary of how they went on with this. They used sterile gloves while implanting the grafts, also used a new gown every time they/I left of (re-)entered the room. A window was open during the procedure and people kept going in and out of the room, while the technicians were busy with my transplant. Those are my only two points of improvement. Other than that, great care! Very great. [Qunomedical] Always available (for questions), they don't any problem to help. Always coming up with solutions. My health care manager took initiative to ask how things were going after the surgery. Show more

From the moment I contacted Julia at Qunomedical to arriving back home after my hair transplant, the whole experience has been excellent. I have been kept informed throughout and had every question answered straight away. I flew with Turkish Airlines who we great and stayed in the Dedeman hotel in Istanbul. On the day of the hair transplant I was picked up at 08.00 and was having my procedure by 08.30. The staff were friendly and looked after me the whole time, providing me with food, drinks and breaks whenever I needed them. Great aftercare advice given, all in all I would highly recommend Qunomedical if you are thinking of having a hair transplant. Julia was amazing throughout! I was always kept aware of what was going to happen when and where, with questions answered very quickly.

I was very pleased with the service I received and would definitely recommend Dr Cinik. Qunomedical were very professional and provide a great service. They answered all my questions and put me at ease as it was quite a stressful time.

Great clinic and perfect service. There was transport from airport to hotel. Staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful. Next day I was collected by Cinik private taxi and taken to Dr Cinik clinic. I was met by a translator he explained what was going to happen throughout the day. Next I had my bloods taken and photos taken. I had my consultation with Dr Cinik and then my 7 hour transplant. Staff were very professional and friendly and the facilities were very clean and I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my operation. After operation I was instructed how and when to take medication and how to contact clinic if I have any issues. Next day I was back at clinic for post operation check up and to asked any questions. We were then transferred to airport. I was very pleased with the service I received and would definitely recommend Dr Cinik. Qunomedical were very professional and provide a great service. I could contact them anytime any got a quick response back. They answered all my questions and put me at ease as it was quite a stressful time. Would like to say a big thank you to Julia.

Over all 10 out of 10 for both Qunomedical and Cinik clinic , ill wait for the result which is the important part and the main reason i spent almost $5K and hoping the HT result will give me a chance to give them 10 out 10. Wish me a good luck . Thanks to Becky and Dr Cinik office.

After landing it was easy to locate the car service people , driver was very friendly , took an hour from airport to hotel since driver took city route instead of taking the highway , at least i got a chance to see crowdy streets of Istanbul, all went well . A little problem i faced when reached the hotel "" Dedeman Hotel "" receptionist told me that for some reason Cinik clinic cancelled my reservation , rightaway i called my agent from Qunomedocal ""Becky "" after getting the wifi from hotel , Becky as always very helpful , she contacted Dr Cinik clinic righaway , got call from Cinik office , issue resolved right away but after i done taking with Becky and Cinik office , hotel receptionist asked me how would you like to pay ? What ? I said im not paying for it , called again Becky , as always she resolved the isuuse on spot , Still im ok since Becky from Qunomedical and Cinik help desk were there for you , these minor issues are part of life. Next day Cinik driver picked me up from hotel around 8:30 for clinic , very welcoming staff at Cinik lobby , Dr Cinik suggested my hairline in his office , very friendly Dr Cinik plus his all staff , there were very few people who speak english but i was lucky to have a fluent speaking lady with me in surgery room for about hour and a half which really helped alot to communicate wit technicians, over all 10 out of 10 for both Qunomedical and Cinik clinic , ill wait for the result which is the important part and the main reason i spent almost $5K and hoping the HT result will give me a chance to give them 10 out 10. Wish me a good luck . Thanks to Becky and Dr Cinik office. Nothing to improve Becky did a wanderful job.

The language barrier is difficult and you have to have an element of trust for your pick ups etc but I couldn’t fault it for the cost. Just hoping for good growth now.

Logistically, everything went smoothly. Once I found the pick station at the airport, I was taken straight to my hotel which was lovely. Clean and comfortable. All transfers to and from the hotel and the clinic were fine. The clinic is excellent. Fairly new, well organised and very clean. Considering the amount of people they deal with daily, everything went very smoothly. A translater was available when required and Dr Cinak see’s you personally. He confirms some health details with you before drawing your new hairline. You are then photographed for before and after photographs and then have your head shaven prior to treatment. The treatment is hard work. It’s a long stint and is painful and uncomfortable at times. Nothing to bad however. You then have all the medicines explained to you on completion and are taken back to your hotel. The check up the day after is pretty straight forward and the regime to promote healthy growth is explained. You are offered their own products but are not pushed to take them but advised to find an alternative if not! Then it was back to the airport. Which is superb! And home! All round. It was everything you can imagine. The language barrier is difficult and you have to have an element of trust for your pick ups etc but I couldn’t fault it for the cost. Just hoping for good growth now. Very good. Available when required, friendly and did not push me at all. Gave me all the information requested.

During and after my treatment, staff were friendly, polite and caring. The facilities were super clean and cost of treatment was very reasonable. Mark is a true gent and a caring medical coordinator.

Collection from airport to hotel on my first night was very simple and straight forward. Collection from hotel to clinic was again straight forward and smooth. My only suggestion would be if the clinic staff inform you to bring ID ie passport before treatment and advice on having a meal before etc. During and after my treatment, staff were friendly, polite and caring. The facilities were super clean and cost of treatment was very reasonable. My experience with Mark [Qunomedical] was very positive, Mark advised on the types of treatment available and advised on the most suitable Dr to provide the treatment. He wasn't a pushy salesman but a caring coordinator who was with me with every step of my journey. He came across friendly, caring and understood my initial fears. Mark is a true gent and a caring medical coordinator.
