Itinerary

Trip 

    Day 1 - Arrival

  • Arrival at İstanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW)
  • Transfer to the hotel

    Day 2 - Treatment

  • Pick-up from your hotel to the clinic
  • Pre-op consultation and blood tests
  • Hair transplant surgery
  • Drop-off at your hotel

    Day 3 - Post-op check and Departure

  • Pick-up from the hotel to the clinic
  • Post-op check-up
  • Transfer to the airport for departure at 2 pm or after
  • Optional: If staying for 3 nights, post-op check on Day 3, and hair wash, discharge education and departure on Day 4

Preparation 

  • Don't use aspirin and B and E vitamins.
  • Don't drink alcohol 3 days before the operation.
  • If you have allergy to drugs, please inform your doctor during the consultation.
  • Do not smoke 24 hours before the operation.
  • If you're taking medications for chronical illnesses or if you have any other health conditions, inform the clinic beforehand (diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, tuberculosis, HIV, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C).
  • Bring comfortable button-down shirts or sweatshirts.
  • Do not use any gel or sprays before the operation.

Aftercare 

  • Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
  • You’ll receive a post-op care kit with medication for about 1 week. The kit includes:
    • 1 box of antibiotic (Aksef). Dosage: 1 tablet per day after breakfast
    • 1 box of painkillers. Dosage: 1 tablet per day after breakfast
    • 1 box of gastroprotective drug (Omeprol). Dosage: 1 tablet per day before breakfast
    • 1 box of anti-edema (Prednol). Dosage: 1 tablet per day after breakfast
    • 1 box of blood diluent. Dosage: 1 tablet per day after breakfast
    • Panthenol spray
    • Sebamed shampoo
    • Head band to reduce the swelling and protect your eyes and face.
    • Bucket hat
    • Neck pillow
    • Carry bag
  • Additional post-op care package available at an extra cost of €200. It will last 6 months and it includes:
    • 6 shampoo bottles.
    • 3 boxes of multivitamins (60 tablets each). Dosage: 1 tablet per day.
    • 3 boxes of Biotin (60 tablets each). Dosage: 1 tablet per day.
    • 2 boxes of Finasteride (28 tablets each). Dosage: 1/4 tablet per day.

Dr Cinik is very pleasant and gives great confidence.

I was picked up at the airport and all transfers to the clinic and back were included. I was also dropped back to the airport on my return. I was treated very well by friendly, knowledgable staff. From start to finish the procedure was first class, and the staff were of the highest professionalism and 1st class

Picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel which was five star. Next day I was collected from the hotel, taken to the hospital and had session with Dr, discussed procedure and then it began! Das Prozeß life gut, ich wurde von Flughafen abgeholt und in hotel gebracht.. Nechste Tag wurde ich informiert dass sie mich am Nachmittag abholen und in Clinik bringen, ich wurde erwartet aber leider ohne dolmetscher. Es gab Verständnis problem aber es ging ergendwie. Das OP zimmer war zu klein für ein Operation, sauber sollte es mehr sein. Gute Erfahrungen gemacht, Verbesserung ist gut wenn ihr die Kontakt Personal besser könnt regulieren, es würde reichen mit zwei Personen zu kontaktieren anstatt mit mehrere.

The process was good, I was picked up from the airport and taken to a hotel. The next day I was informed that they would pick me up in the afternoon and bring me to the clinic, I was expected but unfortunately without an interpreter. There was understanding problem but it worked out. The O.R. Room was too small for surgery, clean it should be more. Good experiences made, improvement is good if you can better regulate the contact staff, it would be enough to contact two people instead of several.

Pick up from airport was very smooth and easy . Instructions sent by .qunomedical were perfect . Hotel very nice . Pick up on day of surgery very efficient.Staff at hospital were all so nice and reassuring. Facilities were very good. Was picked up on time the next morning and taken for bandages to be removed and head cleaned . We were given plenty of advice and relevant medication and then taken to the airport . The whole process was fantastic and cannot recommend enough to anyone thinking of going Very efficient with replies to my questions and supplied all information I needed. Was nice knowing I had 24/7 support if it was needed

Communications could have been much quicker, sometimes it takes 1-2 days for a response. Booking the appointment is flawless and quick. Airport transfer is straightforward. Pros: 1. Dr Cinik is very professional and friendly and I felt at ease. 2. Hotel is adequate and near to clinic. 3. Price is within my pricepoint. 4. Staff were friendly although there is barrier to communication. Cons. 1. I was not advise of the time of my procedure (see email i sent to Emma). Poor communications on both quno and Dr. Cinik team. 2. Post op medications is confusing. Eg. Aspirin, most forums said dont have it. 3. Facilities is questionable, not so sure if I spoted a gauze scissor with rusty middle bit. Though I cannot be sure as I was in already in the table when i was looking for it. 4. Not to JCIA standards, I worked with JCIA hospital in the Philippines and this is far. Eg. IV access dressings, patient identification - the technician/nurse asked me to identify 4 blood bottles and I did not spotted mine. Hoping no mistakes were made. Clexane injections without skin cleansing. Though, I would not probably notice this things if i am not a nurse. 5. Pre-op bloods is questionable. 5 mls were taken. Only yellow bottle was sent. I am a surgical practitioner, and Its imperical to check for clotting, U+Es and FBC prior to procedure to ensure safe procedure. Eg prolonged clotting can make you bleed more. I believe this things are being overlooked by patients as they are not into the profession and does not know these standards. Communication could have been better.

Das Personal und die Ärzte Waren sehr freundlich und haben gute Arbeit geleistet.

Ich bin mit dem Flugzeug auf dem falschen Flughafen gelandet was und der Fahrer war im Flughafen Atatürk darum bin ich direkt mit dem Taxi bis ins Grande Cevahir Hotel gefahren. Ich wurde am nächsten morgen abgeholt und zur Klinik gefahren. Das Personal und die Ärzte Waren sehr freundlich und haben gute Arbeit geleistet. Ich wurde auch ausführlich Beraten, was mir jedoch ein bischen fehlte war ein Dolmetscher wäre vieleicht noch besser gewesen. Das Krankenhaus war sauber nur das behandlungszimmer war klein doch da man sich nur hinlegen muss braucht man nicht mehr Platz. Bis auf ein Dolmetscher, eine Dusche im Hotel mit einem Duschkopf den man Bewegen kann bin ich mit allem zufrieden.

I landed at the wrong airport by plane and the driver was in Atatürk airport so I took a taxi straight to the Grande Cevahir Hotel. I was picked up the next morning and driven to the clinic. The staff and doctors were very friendly and did a good job. I was also given detailed advice, but what I lacked a little was an interpreter might have been even better. The hospital was clean only the treatment room was small but as you only have to lie down you don't need more space. Apart from an interpreter, a shower in the hotel with a shower head that can be moved, I am satisfied with everything.
