I had been thinking about having a hair transplant done for quite some time, but the decision was made relatively spontaneously in January. I came across the First Hair Clinic in Frankfurt through Youtube videos and first wanted to find out if they would operate on me at all, as I am still quite young (20), although I have suffered from hair loss for several years. Through the website you can find out what you need to be "judged", a few pictures of your head as well as information about the person and hair loss. Just a few days later I received an e-mail that it had been considered sensible to do a hair transplant. Just because of my age, I was skeptical whether it would be worth it, but I didn't want to give up on the idea, so I called the clinic to find out. The first big advantage: advice and support on the phone. In addition one must say that one always has contact to the same person here. In my opinion something very good, the nice gentleman gave competent information to all my questions and took me also the first doubt whether it would be worthwhile itself then. Moreover, it is very pleasant that if you want to ask something by phone or WhatsApp, one and the same person is there for you, you don't have to explain the situation several times to different people and after quite a short time I felt familiar and in good hands. I was just as positively surprised by the quick appointment, after only one month waiting time it would start and the joy was great to be able to tackle it soon. The organization in terms of travel, stay etc. was arranged by telephone and here too I received a lot of support, for example with the choice of the hotel. A few days later everything was in dry cloths and then all we had to do was wait. On the day of the preliminary examination I arrived by train and arrived at the clinic about an hour early. I was warmly welcomed and took a seat in the waiting room, the receptionist brought me a hot drink to the clinic's house, I already felt very comfortable in the practice at that time. The preliminary examination took about three-quarters of an hour to an hour. Dr. Just explained to me the complete process of the operation as well as the aftercare and when to expect the first results. She examined my donor area and confirmed that it would be really worthwhile to tackle the matter here, the next day my dream of finally having full hair on my head again should come true. At 7 o'clock in the morning it started, part 1 of the operation lying on the abdomen for the removal of all grafts at the back of the head. The cold spray took most of the pain when injecting the local anesthesia. As soon as you felt pain again, all you had to do was let know and something was done about it. In fact, I slept in the meantime, so it wasn't particularly unpleasant. Then they took a break, I was allowed to eat and drink and my face was measured one last time to determine the new hairline. My wishes were all taken into account and part 2 of the operation, the insertion of the grafts, could begin. Altogether I was cared for and treated by five persons, who transplanted all roots professionally in piecework work. At 16:30 o'clock the procedure was finished and there followed a small doctor conversation, I was allowed to return to the hotel and rest. The next day the follow-up examination took place, everything went as planned and - if you could judge at that time - an excellent result was achieved. I was given final instructions for aftercare and how I could help heal the wounds in the next few days. I was picked up by my parents and have been resting at home ever since. At the moment I am working on the aftercare of the donor as well as the transplant region, the final result will be evaluated in 9-12 months. But, as far as I can judge with my untrained eye so far, the work was very, very clean. I had 3060 grafts moved, mostly into the secret ridges. All roots were planted in the natural direction of growth and the hairline was redrawn in a slightly "jagged" shape. This was done to get the most natural result possible, a completely straight hairline looks more artificial than a Babie doll. In addition, additional grafts were used in some places (central covering hair and tonsure), where (partly sufficient) hair was still present, in order to guarantee good hair density in the long term, should hair loss progress in the usual suspicious regions (not every clinic is able to do this and has the necessary expertise to take precautions in this way!). I am convinced of the result so far, which confirms me all the more in my choice of the clinic. Both the doctors and the rest of the team know what they are doing and are experts. That I have landed at the right address is out of the question for me, especially since I have always been looked after by telephone and the contact is maintained. I can recommend the First Hair Clinic to anyone for whom affordable surgery abroad is out of the question :) PS: The price/performance ratio can hardly be surpassed in comparison in Germany.

Dr Balen was super nice and explained everything clearly. Super performance from the team as a whole. I don't have much to say unless I'm already very excited and looking forward to the result. I found the practice pleasant and everything so far super.
