FAQ

Question:

How long does cheekbone surgery take?

Answer:

Cheekbone surgery takes anywhere from one to three hours depending on the experience of the surgeon and the complication of the surgery. For example, a surgery involving repair of a cheekbone fracture will take longer than one done for cosmetic purposes. An orbital floor fracture, which is a fracture around the eye socket area, will increase the length of the operation. The healing process requires about six weeks and swelling may persist for up to three months after surgery.
