FAQ

Question:

Who is the ideal candidate for lens replacement surgery?

Answer:

Lens replacement surgery is considered for people with extreme presbyopia or farsightedness. This procedure is typically only considered if the patient does not qualify for LASIK surgery. That includes people over age 40 who have hyperopia over +3 diopters. People who have severe myopia who also have cataracts are also candidates for lens replacement surgery.
