FAQ

Question:

What should I expect after an abdominoplasty?

Answer:

The next morning after a tummy tuck surgery (or abdominoplasty), the abdomen is swollen and throbbing. In the next several days, pain and swelling will disappear, as well as any bruising. When it is time to leave the hospital or surgical facility, the patient will be given a list of postoperative instructions to follow. While results can be visible immediately, the healing progress can take up to one year.
