MD Medmix hair clinic is led by a member of the Polish Society of Trichology, Marzena Dubas. Her team specializes in the follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplant technique in which each follicular unit is removed one at a time before being transplanted. FUE involves minimal risk of infections, no major scarring, a quicker recovery period than the traditional method (in which a strip of scalp is removed) and more natural-looking results than other traditional hair transplantation methods. Eyebrow and beard implantation are other procedures offered by the clinic. MD Medmix treats a large number of international patients each year and offers packages which include medical treatment and supplies, a hair care set, a 2-night stay in a hotel with breakfast, a special PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) healing treatment, and all transfers between the Katowice or Krakow airport and the hotel. Communication just before procedure could have been a little better but it all worked out in the end.

Pick up was on time and the staff were friendly and helpful. I did not get the doctor is was expecting, so I was very concerned about this. I only thought there was one doctor at this clinic. Regarding the procedure, the doctor transplanted 1000 grafts into the front of my head. I only wanted 800. I wanted the extra 200 to go to the back of my head. I explained that the back of my head was most important to me. I feel like the doctor did not listen to my request. I am also concerned that the front hairline is not level on both sides. It looks unbalanced. Communication just before procedure could have been a little better but it all worked out in the end. In general I am happy with Qunomedical. I have a few concerns about how my hair will look and I hope that Quno will help me get these resolved . I was surprised that Quno did not know the clinic had 2 different doctors.

The clinic was well organized. I would have hoped for a better communication with Qunomedical.

The Taxi driver was 20 minutes late, which would have been okay, except Qunomedical provided no contact point at this time. The clinic was well organized with pick up times etc. clearly communicated on a piece of paper. As for Qunomedical: I am disappointed in two things about Qunomedical: - one minor, one major. At the point of pick up, when the taxi driver was late, I had no communcation line with Qunomedical. My appointment was booked at the clinic of my choice, for 3500 grafts. Upon arrival, Dr. Majeic was immediately aware that this would be difficult. In fact, only 1900 were possible. I have subsequently been told that other clinics would have offered chest hair and beard hair as a possible donor area. Although Qunomedical told me that they cannot be sure of how many grafts will be possible until the patient is seen in person, it should have been clear from the photos I sent to Qunomedical that I was a marginal patient for hair-only donoring, and therefore it was up to Qunomedical to recommend that I go to a clinic providing other donor areas as an option, thereby increasing my chances of a fully successful result. I am very disappointed in the lack of guidance which Qunomedical provided here, hence my unlikeliness to recommend them. I will go on Hairloss Crusaders to point this out.

Great service and care. Nurse was willing to see patients on the weekend as well to change bandages. Qunomedical was very informative and always kept in touch.

Pick up form the airport was easy although there was a super walk to the parking. Consultation and treatment were very easy and swift. The whole experience was faultless. There was not one thing that could have made my experience better.

The whole experience was fantastic. From the first time I contacted Qunomedical to my surgery and aftercare. The surgeon was really knowledgeable and actually advised me not to have a certain procedure when two UK clinics were willing to charge me eight times the price. I felt at ease throughout the surgery and the surgeon explained everything to me in great detail. The clinic was absolutely spotless and the staff spoke fantastic English. It was so good having a contact to speak to in the UK. The things that really stood out to me as just amazing service, was the surgeon ringing the hotel and arranging for a special pillow for me so I was comfortable when I got home and the contact at Qunomedical (Shaz) who gave me his mobile number and said if I had any problems to contact him day or night. After having read many reviews I understood that your team was going to be there for me. I didn't have this feeling at all. The clinic was great, the doctor explained everything I needed to know and the process was smooth.

This is the email I sent to Emma three days after my treatment. I hope this text help future customers to have more realistic expectations. Hi Emma, Thanks for your email. I'm fine. Back in London recovering and about to fly home to enjoy the rest of the summer. I have to be honest with you here, the main (and only) reason because I contracted your services was because I was going through this process on my own and I needed some support. After having read many reviews I understood that your team was going to be there for me. I didn't have this feeling at all. You helped me in things that I didn't need help with (finding the clinic and booking the flights) and even at some point you were too pushy (I remember the email I sent you telling you to stop trying to persuade me to go ahead with the treatment, I had my own timings and I made you aware of this). You emailed me the week before the treatment letting me know I could ask any final questions. I arrived to Poland on Sunday night and no one was waiting for me yet. That little thing freaked me out. I contacted you as I didn't know who else to contact and you told me you rarely check the phone on Sundays and gave me an emergency contact number. Finally the driver came and even though he didn't speak a word of English we could understand each other. At the clinic they were great, the doctor explained everything I needed to know and the process was smooth. After the operation I was very swollen (my head was huge) and quite sore. I almost passed out at the clinic, the nurses had to help me to walk. Once I was back to the hotel the swollen started going down from my face to my neck. I was worried I could not breath. Probably all of this sounds familiar to you and it's not a big deal but for someone who is alone in another country and someone who feels very vulnerable after the operation, this is a real big deal. The following day the people from the hotel wanted me to leave the room at 12 pm although I was told the taxi would pick me up at 6 pm from the hotel. Again I had to sort this problem out on my own. after and not just a generic email asking me if I'm ok.... Probably I misunderstood your responsibilities and you are just in charge to link the clinics with the patients, period. But I can assure you that after all the reviews you have in your website you make people believe that you are going to be next to them at all time, hand by hand and I didn't feel like this at all.
