MD Medmix hair clinic is led by a member of the Polish Society of Trichology, Marzena Dubas. Her team specializes in the follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplant technique in which each follicular unit is removed one at a time before being transplanted. FUE involves minimal risk of infections, no major scarring, a quicker recovery period than the traditional method (in which a strip of scalp is removed) and more natural-looking results than other traditional hair transplantation methods. Eyebrow and beard implantation are other procedures offered by the clinic. MD Medmix treats a large number of international patients each year and offers packages which include medical treatment and supplies, a hair care set, a 2-night stay in a hotel with breakfast, a special PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) healing treatment, and all transfers between the Katowice or Krakow airport and the hotel. Patients also have the option to upgrade to a package which includes a tour of neighboring cities and the mountains.

The whole process ran smooth and the medical staff were extremely helpful.

I was picked up at the airport and brought straight to the hotel. The driver had no English but was very friendly. He translated the plans from the next day though the reception staff at the hotel. The whole process ran smooth and the medical staff were extremely helpful. I was given lunch half way through the operation. It took most of the day but I was made very comfortable at all times. After my checkup the day after I was brought back to the airport for my flight home. As for Qunomedical, I liked that a member of staff was always available through WhatsApp if i needed help or assistance in any way.

I have to say it was all very professional - very well organized. From my initial enquiries with Emma from Qunomedical to the whole, trip and successful surgery.

I have to say it was all very professional - very well organized. From my initial enquiries with Emma from Qunomedical - who was very friendly encouraging and helpful - I was picked up on time from the airport, the driver gave me times - printed out of when he was picking me up and what we were doing - all in English. The hotel itself is your usual run of the mill 3 stay ibis - more than enough for a short stay was clean and got a decent breakfast. On the day of the op - I went at 7 am to get blood work done then back to hotel and was picked up again at 10 am for the procedure. The clinic manager welcomed me - spoke good English then I had consultation with the doc. I wanted 3000 grafts but they could only get 2400 which is fine and I can go back for more. Again the doctors English was perfect and all the other nurses were friendly. we stopped for 20 mins for lunch break - which was lovely and then back to it. Prepare yourself for a long day! I had two breakfasts that morning - one before getting blood work and one after I came back!! Be prepared for a bit of swelling and bring zip up hoodies. You will need to get bandages and stuff and a sponge for when u get home to care for it. Also - the doc will prescribe medication for pain, itching and to help you sleep as well as other things to stimulate growth , Propecia and Regaine - make sure you buy them at the pharmacy in Poland - it will all come to about 80/90 quid but would be 3x price back home. All in all and I am 2 days post op there is no pain! Still a little swollen but I'm like a peach. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask !!!

Everything was perfect. Absolute recommendation!!!

Everything went perfect. I was picked up from the airport and was brought to the hotel. The next day I was picked up and brought to the clinic where the bloodtest was done, followed by a very detailed conversation with the doctor. Afterwards the surgery started. The communication in English was very good - the process were very professional. The next day a nurse came to the hotel changed the band aid. On the departure day I was educated about the next days and upcoming weeks. The already ordered meds were picked up at the pharmacy and I was dropped off at the airport. All the time I felt very good and can only recommend the surgery and clinic. The communication with Qunomedical was very fast and easy. All the processes and materials shared were very professional and described the whole process in detail. Absolute recommendation!!!

I was well looked after by Emma at Qunomedical and MD Medmix. Don't hesitate just do it you won't regret it thanks again Emma you were great from start to finish.

It all started a few months ago. I was thinking about having fue treatment. I looked online and found Qunomedical. I sent an email with my details, shortly after i was called by a friendly lady called Emma who asked me to take some pics of my hairline which I did. Then she sent me some prices of some hair clinics including one in Poland and the in turkey. Both clinics looked great both had excellent reviews and both 5 star. I decided for MD Medmix in Poland. Emma made it all so easy from arranging the flights to the transfers to even arranging a trip out to Aushwitz. A few days before the trip Emma rang me to make sure I had everything and went through whats going to happen when I arrive which helped a lot. When I arrived in Poland I was greeted by a man with my name. I was then taken to his taxi. He told me in the taxi about my program for the next few days and times I am going to be picked up and dropped off at the clinic which made it easier as he spoke little English. The next day the taxi picked me up took me to the clinic to have my blood test then shortly after go to MD Medmix. When I arrived I thought very nice & clean. The staff were very nice and friendly. I sat down and talked about what I would like and how many grafts I would need. We went through everything how I would like my hairline to look after my hair treatment. Shortly after, I had the treatment, the only pain is the injections at the start but as soon as the head is numbed you cannot feel a thing. After the treatment I was given medication and a leaflet what to do in the next few weeks and told to email or ring if I need anymore information which was great. They also took some before and after pics. I was picked up by the taxi driver and taken back to the hotel the next few days I was sent back to have my bandages removed and head cleaned even on the last day before my flight home which was good. I was well looked after by Emma at Qunomedical and MD Medmix. Don't hesitate just do it you wont regret it thanks again Emma you were great from start to finish.

The surgery took place at the clinic, which was very clean. I would especially like to mention Julia at Qunomedical, who was very friendly and honest.

The cab driver picked me up from the airport. After 1:30 hours we reached the hotel. At the clinic the doctor and staff were very friendly. The surgery took place at the clinic, which was very clean. I would especially like to mention Julia at Qunomedical, who was very friendly and honest. The only thing which could be done better is to also have a meal ready when you arrive late at the hotel.

The Clinic and the treatment were very good. I especially liked the extensive consultation before the treatment.

We were picked up from the airport and brought to the hotel. The whole organization was good. It was just a pity that the driver did not speak English. The Clinic and the treatment were very good. I especially liked the extensive consultation before the treatment. The doctor as well as his assistant were very trustworthy! Sophie from Qunomedical was very committed and answered all my questions extensively. I could even reach her late at night and on weekends.

Amazing service and great work from A to Z!

Just came back from my FUE hair Transplant at MD Medmix. Amazing service and great work from A to Z! I'm gonna start with Qunomedical. I’ve been in contact with Julia all the way through! I've been asking loads of questions. She was always there to answer my enquires usually within just few hours! The only thing I would say is that I wished that Qunomedical would send through a "Do's and Don't" information sheet for FUE Hair Transplant as I had to do quite a lot of research. I’ve booked “Hotel Sahara” which was about less than 10 minutes’ drive from MD Medmix. We arrived on a Sunday then had the whole day on Monday as it was Easter Monday in Poland. The Hotel itself was very good and very. Came Tuesday and I was very nervous to say the least. Myself and my partner got picked up at 7am from our hotel with our lovely taxi driver (which by the way, picked us up at the Airport on Sunday). He took us to a small clinic where I had my blood test then dropped us back to the hotel just in time for breakfast :-) Do make sure to eat something before going to the surgery later on. We then got picked up again at 10am to head over to the clinic where we were welcomed by Marzena Dubas and and Dr. Maciej Borejsza. Dr M. Borejsza took us through to his office and went through the whole procedure and told us all the risks. To be honest, after telling us all of this, I really had to take 5 minutes and spoke to my partner and I was very close to not go ahead with it all. Got really scared but I think is because he told us the worse possible effects that might happen. After about 10 minutes of deliberation, I decided to go ahead with it and was the best decision I’ve ever made. Have to say that Dr Borejsza really took his time explaining the whole procedure and was able to ask everything I needed to know. He took me to the theatre room and got prep by 2 nurses. I am not gonna lie, it hurts like hell for the first 5 minutes. Not sure how to describe the pain as it's not even like a needle feeling. But once you got through it, you can't feel a thing. It goes on for about 4 hours but goes relatively quick as they give you some kind of valium to relax. Then you have

a lunch break for about 20 Minutes. Then, you head back to the theatre room and once again, you have to endure about 5 minutes of hell but after that, you're fine. Then it goes on for about 5 hours. It does seems to last forever this time round though. I've read a review somehwere and said that you can wear your earphone along with your smartphone or tablet but you can't! Just be prepared. Once it's all done, the nurse do your bandage and off you go back to your hotel. Your head will most definitely swollen and gets pretty extreme. Just ensure that you ask for ice cubes as soon as you get back to your hotel and put it in a towel then onto your face. Do this all night and you should be okay in the morning. Try to bring some antihistamines from back home just to take in that evening as it helps a LOT with the swollen face. Take it every 4 hours. By the way, you are not gonna have much sleep on the first night if none at all. As our flights was booked very late in the evening the following day, we went back to have my bandage changed in the morning and also picked up our medication (quick word of advise, they only accept local currency or debit/credit card at the pharmacy so no Euros but it is worth getting all of the medication as it is MUCH cheaper than back in the UK, you pay around zl449 which is about £88, this would cost you around £400 back home so definitely worse buying) then head back to the airport. On the day of the surgery, make sure to wear a shirt and a Zip hoodie as it is very hard to put anything over your head. You can put your hoodie up on your return flight, this won't damage the grafts and do buy a XXL hoody from Primark or somewhere so it is very loose. Overall, extremely happy with Qunomedicall and also with Dr Maciej borejsza who has been more than helpful and can ask any questions you might have before and after the surgery not mater how silly it might be. Also please remember that the clinic itself only accept Bank Transfer or Cash ONLY. Not card payment. Forgot to say. Do ensure you check a bag in as if you do get the prescription, which I highly recommend, there're a lot of pills and liquid that you won't be able to take if you have Cabin luggage only. Bear this in mind! Show more

The whole process was very smooth and professional from the taxi driver to the surgeon. I felt looked after and well informed at all time. I found Qunomedical and my consultant Shaz very professional and would have no doubt recommending him or his company to any of my friends or family. The Surgeon did require cash on the day which I was never informed to bring but we done a bank transfer after the treatment. An advice on what to wear after the treatment would have been good, no jumpers or anything to put over your head.
