Post-op checks at clinic during recovery days
Day 7 - Packing removal and departure
Plaster removed at clinic depending on flight time
Transfer to airport for departure after 11 AM
Reduce smoking 1-2 weeks before the operation.
If you are allergic to any drugs, please inform your doctor during the consultation.
If you're taking medications for chronic illnesses or if you have any other health conditions, inform the clinic beforehand.
Stop any medications that thin the blood (consult your GP first) 2 weeks before the operation, including aspirin, ibuprofen and vitamin E.
Do not drink red wine for 2 weeks before the operation since it can increase bleeding and increases tendency to bruise.
If you are smoker, your planned surgery is an excellent impetus to stop. Smoking delays wound healing, which may compromise the result of your surgery. It also impairs your cardiovascular and respiratory systems. You should quit 4 to 6 weeks prior to your planned surgery, and you must quit at least 2 weeks before your planned surgery.
Do not have any food or drink for after midnight the night before your surgery.
On the day of surgery, do not bring any valuables including non-essential jewelry.
Do not wear any makeup on the the day of the operation.
Bring anything you may need for your stay in the clinic, including reading glasses, any daily medications, or glucometer and medications if you are diabetic.
You may shower and wash your hair with your usual products on the morning of your operation.
Wear comfortable clothing.
If you are having facial surgery, we advise you to bring a scarf and dark glasses.
Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
