After having read many reviews I understood that your team was going to be there for me. I didn't have this feeling at all. The clinic was great, the doctor explained everything I needed to know and the process was smooth.
This is the email I sent to Emma three days after my treatment. I hope this text help future customers to have more realistic expectations. Hi Emma, Thanks for your email. I'm fine. Back in London recovering and about to fly home to enjoy the rest of the summer. I have to be honest with you here, the main (and only) reason because I contracted your services was because I was going through this process on my own and I needed some support. After having read many reviews I understood that your team was going to be there for me. I didn't have this feeling at all. You helped me in things that I didn't need help with (finding the clinic and booking the flights) and even at some point you were too pushy (I remember the email I sent you telling you to stop trying to persuade me to go ahead with the treatment, I had my own timings and I made you aware of this). You emailed me the week before the treatment letting me know I could ask any final questions. I arrived to Poland on Sunday night and no one was waiting for me yet. That little thing freaked me out. I contacted you as I didn't know who else to contact and you told me you rarely check the phone on Sundays and gave me an emergency contact number. Finally the driver came and even though he didn't speak a word of English we could understand each other. At the clinic they were great, the doctor explained everything I needed to know and the process was smooth. After the operation I was very swollen (my head was huge) and quite sore. I almost passed out at the clinic, the nurses had to help me to walk. Once I was back to the hotel the swollen started going down from my face to my neck. I was worried I could not breath. Probably all of this sounds familiar to you and it's not a big deal but for someone who is alone in another country and someone who feels very vulnerable after the operation, this is a real big deal. The following day the people from the hotel wanted me to leave the room at 12 pm although I was told the taxi would pick me up at 6 pm from the hotel. Again I had to sort this problem out on my own. To be honest, I expected a call from someone from your team on the operation day and the day
after and not just a generic email asking me if I'm ok.... Probably I misunderstood your responsibilities and you are just in charge to link the clinics with the patients, period. But I can assure you that after all the reviews you have in your website you make people believe that you are going to be next to them at all time, hand by hand and I didn't feel like this at all. I felt left alone in Poland. I want to repeat that the only thing I wanted from you was attention during and after the operation. I could have done all the rest on my own. I also think it's fair for future customers to know about my experience so please, could you send me the link where I can write a review of my experience? Have a nice day.
