I would do it all again but I guess ultimately my satisfaction with the procedure will depend on the results, which I won’t see for 9 months. Emma the consultant at Quno was friendly and great to talk to as well.
The pick up and drop off part I did myself for all three appointments. It wasnt offered by staff but that was ok as my hotel was close to the clinic. The Surgeon explained the procedure. I did find him rude towards his staff, and perhaps a bit rushed and vague in my interactions with him. The surgery went well, the other staff were friendly. The follow up was fine. I was advised not to exercise so I was concerned about the temperature outside, which was typically hot- in Kuala Lumpur. Airconditioned door to door transfers would have been best given the heat such as a taxi. However trains are airconditioned there. The clinic was a little grubby in places but aside from that okay. Emma the consultant at Quno was friendly and great to talk to as well. Emma was great to talk to. Email conversation details did get a little confused between me, quno and the clinic. Some of this was probably language differences but I felt like quno could have stepped in to clear it up. I also thought Quno could have helped more in the process of comparing clinics in the early stages. They did give information on pricing, but ultimately an opinion about who was the better / preferred surgeon between the different countries might have been good.
