All in all, amazing experience - really lovely, skilled people who take great pride & care in what they do, and at no point have I felt at all like I was on any kind of rushed-in, rushed-out conveyor belt.

I think like most people, I had some reservations before booking - it's a pretty intense, life-changing (good or bad) decision to go ahead with this procedure. I am very happy to inform you that it's now 4 days since my treatment & I honestly think it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The staff were so nice & so helpful & have really made the whole process run like a dream. There is some small discomfort during the procedure obviously - it is surgery after all - but honestly the pain is negligeable. There are quite a lot of injections, but the anaesthetic kicks in very quickly, so after, perhaps, 10 minutes of maybe 5/10 on a basic pain scale, you honestly feel nothing at all after that. Throughout the procedure the doctors, nurses & technicians all chat to you & make sure you're ok, and there's always at least one person in the room who speaks English in case you have questions. I actually fell asleep for the last hour or so, which I was told happens with 90% of patience. It's that painless. I had originally booked to come & go quickly over just the two nights required, but actually, Istanbul is a lovely city so I extended by a further week, which I very much recommend. I have been able to go back to the hospital two extra times to speak with the team, have shampoos & creams professionally applied & so forth, which has been invaluable - well above & beyond what I had expected. On top of which, you do feel a little achy & lethargic for the first few days after the procedure (your head does need time to actually heal after all), so there's honestly no major benefit in rushing straight home again if you can possibly avoid. Just for peace of mind alone, it's well worth staying 5 days to a week if you can. I'm now day 4 post-op & although my donor area is a little achy still, & my scalp in general feels tight (like you're wearing a swimming cap more or less), other than that I'm pretty much back to normal. Most of the redness & scabbing has gone & id imagine by the end of one week I should probably be able to go out without a hat on - which is pretty crazy. & care in what they do, and at no point have I felt at all like I was on any kind of rushed-in, rushed-out conveyor belt. It's a very personal service where they check in with you regularly during your entire stay - & are personally available to you 24/7 by whatsapp, no matter how small the query. I really can't recommend it enough. Coree has been great throughout. I ummed & arred for a good few months after our initial conversation & she was totally cool & patient with me whilst I made my mind up to go ahead, which was very decent of her. It IS a big decision for most people (I'd imagine) so I wanna thank her for not being too pushy. She kept lines of communication open just the right amount, and now that I have gone ahead with the procedure, I'm so so pleased (so far!) - & I can't thank her enough :) show more
