Dr Rafiezadeh’s Professional Experience
After completing his studies in medicine at the University of Tehran in 2008, Dr Rafiezadeh specialised as an eye doctor at the Tehran University of Medical Science. Shortly after, he moved to Germany, continuing to sharpen his expertise in the academic environment through a residency at the prestigious Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. He has also spent time working at the equally renowned Johannes Gutenberg University Hospital in Mainz.
Over his career, Dr Rafiezadeh has worked in various eye clinics in Iran and Germany. In 2022, he opened MAIN VISION in Frankfurt, where he continues to provide outstanding care ranging from diagnostics to surgeries. As an established leader in laser eye surgery in particular, he has written papers and lectured on the topic.
Recognition and Memberships
Dr Rafiezadeh passed the European Board of Ophthalmology exam in 2021, becoming a fellow of this esteemed organisation. He is also a member of the German Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
