Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure that is used to reshape and contour different areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits. This technique removes the excess fat by using suction to draw it out through a hollow tube called a cannula.

Below are starting prices per area for liposuction across several countries.
Liposuction is a popular type of cosmetic procedure that is used to remove stubborn pockets of fat that people are unable to get rid of through diet and exercise. It is commonly performed by a plastic surgeon on the face, hips, abdomen, thighs or buttocks to improve their contours. Liposuction may be performed alone or in combination with other procedures such as facelifts or tummy tucks.
There are four different types of liposuction people might receive, the different types include tumescent liposuction, ultrasound-assisted liposuction, laser-assisted liposuction and water-jet assisted liposuction.
The most common type of liposuction is tumescent liposuction. In this procedure, the surgeon injects a solution of saline, epinephrine, and lidocaine in the area from which fat deposits will be suctioned out. The use of this sterile injection makes it easier to suction the fact and decreases pain and blood loss.
Ultrasound-assisted liposuction is also called UAL liposuction. In this procedure, sound waves are used to rupture the fat cells, which liquefies the fat. This makes it easier to suction the fat out.
In laser-assisted liposuction, the surgeon uses a laser to rupture the fat cells and liquefy the fat. Once the fat is liquefied, it is then removed.
Water-jet assisted liposuction relies on pressurized saline. The saline stream is used to loosen the fat cells instead of rupturing them so that the removal process might be gentler.
Liposuction normally does not require general anesthesia and is performed as an outpatient procedure. The surgery itself can last two to three hours, but the time at the center where the procedure is performed may last from three to seven hours. Here are the steps of a liposuction procedure.
To perform tumescent liposuction, which is the most common type of liposuction surgical technique that is performed, general anesthesia is normally not needed. People may instead receive a local anesthetic made of lidocaine along with a mild sedative for the removal of fat in targeted locations. The surgeon may use general anesthesia if large amounts of fat will be removed from multiple locations.
After administering the anesthetic agent, the surgeon will then start the liposuction procedure by making small, discrete incisions at predetermined locations on the body. In most cases, the incision's size will range from 1/4 to 1/3 inch (or 6 to 8 mm). The surgeon will make the incisions in concealed areas or in natural creases so that scarring will be minimal. Surgeons who perform liposuction normally do not make large incisions unless the surgery is completed in combination with other surgeries such as a tummy tuck.
After the incisions are made, the surgeon will then use a thin cannula by inserting it through the incision. This is used to remove the unwanted fat from the deeper tissue layers. The doctor will move the cannula back and forth to manipulate and dislodge the fat tissue. After disrupting the fat cells, it is easier to suction and remove them by using a pump or syringe that is attached to the cannula's other end.
Doctors may use heat-based techniques such as ultrasound- or laser-assisted techniques, or they may use waterjet-assisted techniques to help to perform the liposuction in a less invasive and more precise manner. In these techniques, the controlled heat or pressurized saline stream is used to liquefy the fat cells. These techniques do not require as much physical manipulation by the surgeon of the fat. Before and after the procedure, the patients will be given intravenous fluids to compensate for losses of bodily fluids and blood.
Following the removal of the targeted fat deposits, the surgeon will use sutures to close the incisions. Temporary drain tubes may be placed beneath the skin in the incisions to drain excess fluid and to minimize the risk of infection. The sutures and drain tubes will be removed approximately one week to 10 days after the procedure.
After surgery, the doctor will give the patient post-operative instructions. People should expect to rest for a couple of days and to wear compression garments for a couple of weeks. They may also be given prescriptions for medications to reduce swelling and pain and antibiotics to prevent infections.
For the first few weeks after receiving liposuction, people should expect to experience some post-operative swelling. Most patients will see approximately 90 percent of the results from their liposuction procedures within about four weeks. Since the fat cells are permanently removed, fat should not return to the treated areas. However, if people gain weight after liposuction, the new fat might be deposited elsewhere in the body.
The cost of a liposuction depends on what liposuction technique you choose, where you choose to be treated and if it needs to be combined with other treatments.
The pricing differential depends on many factors, such as cost of living, exchange rates, or practicing costs, which may differ greatly from country to country.
Displayed locations reflect starting prices per area for liposuction booked through Qunomedical. Prices may vary depending on individual needs and conditions.

Everything was explained throughly plenty of times. After the procedure i spent a peaceful night in the hospital and the staff were happy to help as and when i needed it.
I was a little nervous about the whole procedure as i was going alone. I was picked up from the airport by 2 gentlemen in a comfortable car and was taken to my hotel. On the journey i was spoken to by my representative and everything was explained. I was put at ease and enjoyed the relaxing evening in a lovely hotel. The next morning i was picked up again and taken to the hospital. I was a little bit apprehensive about the language barrier but my rep was fluent in both turkish and English and put me at ease. Everything was explained throughly plenty of times. After the procedure i spent a peaceful night in the hospital and the staff were happy to help as and when i needed it. Next morning i was discharged with all relevant pain relief and taken back to my hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful, they were very considerate and extremely accommodating. After the week recovering i was taken back to the airport and flew home. I have had several messages asking how i am and follow up txt. I am extremely happy with my results. The one thing i will advice is pay in cash.. once you have exchanged from this rate to that rate it added a few extra £££ to my bill.

Very friendly and very professional that's how I would like to describe my experience in this treatment journey to Turkey. My experience with Qunomedical is excellent.
I was picked up from the airport to the 5 stars hotel. Then next morning from the hotel to the hospital for the consultation and admission. The coordinator was also a translator and she was at a very high level of professionalism. She was with me through all the stages till the Operating Room. The Doctor was excellent both in knowledge and practice. She elaborated in details everything to expect from the start till the end of the vaser liposuction procedure. Personality was awesome for all of the staff including nurses and technicians and the cleaners. During the visit I was given all the time I needed and all the information about my status. Very friendly and very professional that's how I would like to describe my experience in this treatment journey to Turkey. My experience with Qunomedical is excellent.

The preliminary interview with the surgeon was excellent and detailed. The difficulty I experienced was with the lack of adequate pain relief.
The preliminary interview with the surgeon was excellent and detailed. The hospital facilities were clean but very basic and no frills. The difficulty I experienced was with the lack of adequate pain relief. In Australia I would have had 3 days of strong pain relief but here I had only one. On the second day following major surgery I was offered panadol. The communication with Qunomedical was often slow due to difficulties with obtaining information in Thailand I suspect.

In conclusion I was very happy with the treatment and the outcome! I was also very happy with Qunomedical, especially the very friendly communication of the service team.
I was welcomed very friendly by the hospital personal. The operating Doctor was immediately with me and explained the procedures. I can not say anything about the surgery, since its just been a couple of days. In the hospital, everybody was very friendly and treated me well. 2 doctors spoke German and explained and ansewered all my questions. Everything else I could clarify with the patient coordinator in English. The nurses were also with me the whole time and were of great help. The person accompanying me, was mainly ignoed by the staff. The second bed was perfekt, but unfortunatly they missed the additional meals for the person accompanying me. This can be done better. Besides that I can only speak very positive about the hospital, especially their hygine standards are amazing. My room was cleaned several times a day and the nurses kept the strict hygine standards. In conclusion I was very happy with the treatment and the outcome! The communication with Qunomedical was perfect. All raised questions and concerns were answered very fast and satisfying. I went for the surgery without any unanswered questions.

I felt very safe.
I did quite a bit of research all over the world, and looked at all of the reviews. The thing that did it for me was that it was all in one, that was the clinic, the recovery area, the dental. I broke my tooth last week and I wasn’t able to get into my dentist’s so I got my tooth fixed here. It’s just been an amazing experience, an amazing experience! If you did this then you go home and you’re by youself there’s no one to look after you whereas here I felt very safe, well cared for, everyone’s very intelligent, they know their jobs, and doctor Quiroz is just amazing. I can say that really there was no pain, there was a lot of tightness but as far as pain, there was no pain! It’s just incredible.

The hospital is absolute heaven.
I am very pleased with the doctor and the nurses have been great. The hospital is absolute heaven. Great service from all the staff, starting from International Desk help, Chafik, to the cleaning lady. The whole experience has been wonderful. I came to the hospital to do a lot more than what i have done, but due to my short time of stay I only did 2 things. But I will be back and I will pass this experience to all my friends in Australia. Thank you so much. Thanks to all staff, all nurses, Dana, Grace, Darlene, Elsie and the rest.
