Dental implants Turkey: What are the risks?
Many of the modern dental clinics have national and international certifications. Most of the dentists are not only well educated in dentistry, but also have many years of experience. Moreover, all dentists who treat international patients speak good English and sometimes even other languages like German, owing sometimes to having had some training abroad. Of course, there are also dentists who are less qualified yet still want to earn money from the flourishing medical tourism industry. To ensure that you do not mistakenly end up in their hands, we work exclusively with some of the most reputable clinics in Turkey. Not only have we vetted them ourselves, but based on patient feedback, we are able to continuously check the quality standard of our partner clinics and follow up on every case if any issue arises.
That way, we can permanently ensure that you receive the safest and highest quality care from dentists you can trust to give you life-changing results.
Should I get dental implants in Turkey?
If you want to save a lot of money and are willing to travel to Turkey, then the answer is yes, absolutely! Although you’ll have to make two separate trips to complete the treatment, it’s still very much worth travelling for your dental implants. Turkey package prices mean that even with travel costs included, dental implants in Turkey end up costing less than in your home country.
A ticket to any of Turkey’s cities is quickly booked and a direct flight usually takes just under three hours from within Europe, depending on the destination. Once you arrive, you can expect a smooth all-round service that the clinics have refined by treating thousands of foreign patients over the years. This includes a driver between the airport, hotel and clinic, as well as the hotel accommodation itself.
Patients often tell us that in their hotels they meet others who have also travelled to Turkey for medical treatment, and end up making plans together like going for a meal or exploring the area together. This gives patients some added comfort during their trip, since the affiliated hotels are full of medical tourists travelling alone – but regardless, you won’t feel lost or alone with us, because if something doesn't go quite right, your friendly Qunomedical patient manager is always there for you.

How much do dental implants cost in Turkey?
For all dental procedures, including teeth implants, Turkey price ranges are far lower that almost any other European country. At the same time, both the quality of the treatment and the materials are high.
Owing to their outstanding medical infrastructure, Turkey attracts a great deal of international patients who are happy to travel if it means saving so much on quality that rivals that of their home country’s. It’s no different even when it comes to a more thorough procedure like dental implants; Turkey package deals will always be better value, plus, they take the stress out of the whole journey. But how high are the dental implant costs in Turkey?

What do dental implant all-inclusive packages in Turkey include?
In most cases, Turkish dental clinics cooperate with nearby hotels and local drivers, from whom they receive special rates due to consistent bookings, making it all the more worthwhile to go to Turkey. Teeth packages offered by the clinics usually include:
All treatment costs of the dental clinic
All transfers between the airport, hotel and clinic
The required number of hotel nights (mostly 5-star hotels including breakfast)
24-hour availability of the on-site patient coordinator
With all this included, you don't have to worry about anything!
Are the costs covered by the health insurance?
In the case of a dental prosthesis, health insurance usually pays a fixed allowance based on the cost of a standard treatment. However, this allowance is independent of the type of prosthesis. This means that insurance pays the same amount, regardless whether you get a crown or implant fitted. But in the case of the latter, you would have to pay for the implant screw yourself, whilst the prosthetic tooth cap that fits on top is covered by your insurance allowance.
There are also supplementary and additional insurances that can take effect. In the case of private health insurance, the respective agreements and insurance conditions of your insurance company apply.
For treatment abroad, you should generally find out in advance whether and to what extent the treatment is covered by your health insurance.
Why are dental implants so cheap in Turkey?
Dental implants cost nowhere near as much in Turkey as they do here. The following is an explanation as to why the prices are so different, based on some factors that fluctuations can depend on:
The quality of the material: depending on the material you choose, the price will vary. If the dental crown that is fitted onto the implant screw is made of ceramic, it is generally more expensive than its plastic counterpart.
Treatment packages for several trips: since dental implants usually require several sessions, many Turkish dental clinics offer special treatment packages for international patients. These include hotel accommodation and transfer services in addition to the procedure itself, and can cover all necessary trips.
Offers for multiple implants: many patients need multiple implants. All-on-4 or All-on 6 implants are a good solution for those who need an entirely new jaw of teeth. Even these implant costs in Turkey are much lower than in UK dental clinics, without any compromise on quality or expertise.
