SculpSure
SculpSure is a non-surgical laser-based form of lipolysis, a treatment to reduce and eliminate fat cells by melting them down. Due to heat being conducted well in the body it achieves a very natural looking body line as a result. The treatment works for both women and men.
Lipolysis procedures are used for body contouring and not weight loss as they target specific stubborn fat deposits that are present under the skin on areas such as the thighs, stomach or upper arms.

ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS
What Is SculpSure?
SculpSure is a non-invasive lipolysis procedure that employs a laser to reduce fat deposits. In contrast to CoolSculpting, which destroys adipocytes (fat cells) by crystallising (freezing) them, SculpSure uses heat to disrupt them. The treatment has been cleared by the FDA.
What Body Areas Can Be Treated With SculpSure?
The SculpSure procedure is intended for:
abdomen
upper and lower back
inner and outer thighs
upper arms
chin and neck area (submental area)
The treatment targets visible fat bulges and can also have a positive effect on lax tissue under the chin.
How Does SculpSure Work?
The number of adipocytes in an adult body normally remains constant throughout our life and only the size of the cells changes when we gain or lose weight. This can make it difficult to lose excess fat or remodel particular body areas, as the fat cells merely shrink but don’t disappear altogether.
The Method Behind SculpSure
SculpSure uses a diode laser system consisting of a specially designed belt with heat laser paddles that can be adjusted to fit over the targeted problem areas to destroy the fat cells and reduce their overall number. The belt is applied for the areas on the upper and lower body while a special headgear and straps are used for the submental area.
Each session lasts approximately 25 minutes per treated area and can eliminate up to 24% of the targeted fat.
The Procedure
The laser penetrates the outer skin layers and targets the subcutaneous fat tissue directly without affecting or damaging the skin. Low level heat (between 42°C and 47°C) is applied which melts the fat cells down. They are then naturally eliminated by your body’s metabolism.
Is the Treatment Painful?
Throughout the treatment you may feel some tingling and the laser applicator alternates between warm and cool sensations to not overheat the skin.
After the procedure, your skin might feel numb or sensitive and slight swelling may occur but you can immediately resume daily activities.
When Can You See the Results?
The elimination process of the fat cells can take between 6 to 12 weeks. First results may be visible as early as 1 to 3 weeks after the treatment. The final results are normally achieved after 12 weeks.
For the best results, 2 or 3 sessions might be required with a break of 6 to 12 weeks between each session. You should also maintain a healthy and active lifestyle for long-lasting effects.
