UCT Private Academic Hospital is a collaboration between three medical providers: South Africa's largest private sector hospital network, Netcare; the Groote Schuur Hospital; and the University of Cape Town’s Medical School. This collaboration offers a vast pool of medical knowledge and experience to patients who choose care at the facility. The hospital offers multi-disciplinary services, including cardiology, ENT, neurology, and oncology, among other. The facility has eight specialty centers, includes 112 beds, and is equipped with a surgical unit that is opened 24-hours a day for medical emergencies. International patients are welcomed to the facility, and guided by staff through each stage of care.
